1. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

  2. today was my last day of student teaching. here is something i wrote on facebook about it:

here are some of the highlights from my last day of student teaching: every class gave me a card with everyone’s notes and signatures in it and took a picture with me, i cried during my 3rd hour when i was saying bye and everyone gave me a group hug, one of my English language learners told me that i made English fun for her for the first time ever, one of my boys told me that i made English make sense and that he (and his mom) thanks me because he has a “B” in the class, i cried during 10th hour when i was telling my freshman how proud i was of them and i made three students cry with me, multiple students told me that they wanted me to stay for forever, and one of my students came back to me at the end of the day to see how i was doing and of course i was still crying and he gave me a hug. i could not have wished for better, more hilarious, or caring students. it was an absolute honor to teach them and i will miss them dearly.

    basically, a lot of crying.

also, i am officially done with my two undergraduate degrees.

    (sleeps forever)
